Wolf Self-Cleaning Bucket
Patent numbers: CA # 3,026,303 USA # 10,544,560
It has been a long time coming!
No plugging! No shoveling! Just digging!
Imagine!
The plugging of backhoe bucket frustration goes back to day 1, in 1930, when the first backhoe was patented, and today’s mini-hoe excavators, designed in 1970, have the very same bucket configuration.
The Wolf Self-Cleaning Bucket bolt-on attachment:
- Eliminates soil build-up
- Allows full volume capacity with no interruption throughout work-day
- Falls in line with today’s advanced engineering physics design of excavators
- Requires NO added hydraulic plumbing, and NO alterations to mini excavator’s boom
In today’s competitive market, having a self-cleaning bucket that can increase the efficiency of the excavator up to 50% is smart business.
18-inch Bobcat E35
18-inch TB 235
- Lessens and simplifies operators’ maneuvers
- Maximizes cycle time
- Requires only one simple clean-up for transportation
- With faster excavation, provides job site efficiency by reducing cave-ins, getting sub-trades in faster
- Provides health safety:
- Reduces operators’ fatigue due to jarring of hydraulics
- Removes the dangers of manually cleaning the bucket
- Is environmentally friendly:
- Minimizes depreciation of equipment – contributes to longevity of excavator boom and hydraulic system
- Minimizes fuel consumption
- Minimizes labor/rental of other equipment (trucking, etc.) and time costs
Bucket Innovative Stop-Plate Insert
Eliminates bucket soil build-up, and therefore
Allows more soil volume per cycle
Requires one simple clean-up for transportation
Functionality
Holder, designed to hold the Stop-Finger, bolts onto stick.
Stop-Finger meets Shoe attached at back of Stop-Plate.
During full bucket dump cycle, Stop-Plate is held in position by Stop-Finger as bucket cycles backwards.
Stop-Plate then reaches front of bucket and soil drops off giving the illusion that soil is being ejected by Stop-Plate.
The WOLF SELF-CLEANING BUCKET design meets all conventional mini excavator bucket standards.
Specifications
The total weight of attachment depends on bucket size.
An An 18″ (45.72 cm) heaping bucket capacity of 3.3 cubic feet.
With 1″ (2.54) of soils stuck on plate, bucket capacity loss is 6.7%.
Wolf Self-Cleaning Bucket
Falls in-line with today’s advanced engineering physics design of excavators
Requires NO alterations to mini-excavator’s stick:
- Bucket Holder bolts onto stick as a permanent fixture
- Stop-Finger can be secured in Holder allowing conventional attachment hook-ups
NO added hydraulics
